Miracle
The ECS (Eddy Current Separator) is the most critical sorting machine in any non-ferrous metal recycling line. Using a high-frequency rotating magnetic field, it induces eddy currents in conductive non-ferrous metals — aluminum, copper, zinc, brass — creating a repulsion force that physically ejects these materials from the conveyor belt, cleanly separating them from non-conductive waste (plastics, glass, rubber).
A high-speed rotating permanent magnet rotor (3,000–4,500 RPM) is positioned at the head pulley of the conveyor belt
As non-ferrous metal particles pass over the rotor, the rapidly alternating magnetic field induces eddy currents
These eddy currents generate a repulsive magnetic force on the metal particles — effectively "launching" them forward in a different trajectory from non-conductive materials
A precisely positioned splitter plate divides the two trajectories: non-ferrous metals land in one bin, non-metals in another
High-frequency rotor design (4,500 RPM) achieves effective separation on fine particles down to 3mm — significantly better than older low-frequency designs
Adjustable splitter plate position allows fine-tuning of separation accuracy for each specific material type
Eccentric magnetic pole configuration improves separation of flat aluminum can fragments that standard designs miss
Stainless steel conveyor belt surface is non-conductive, preventing false-positive repulsion
Variable belt speed (1.5–3.5 m/s) adapts to different material densities and throughput requirements
Easy belt tension and rotor gap adjustment without tools
Available in 500mm, 600mm, 800mm, and 1000mm belt widths for different line throughput requirements
Post-crusher aluminum can sorting (separating UBC chips from coating residue)
Wire granulator line (separating copper granules from PVC insulation)
Auto shredder residue (ASR) non-ferrous recovery
WEEE line aluminum and copper recovery
Mixed construction demolition waste metal recovery
Separation results depend on: particle size uniformity, material cleanliness, belt speed, and rotor frequency. We offer pre-sales material testing to confirm separation efficiency before purchase.
